Iwona Wojcik obtained her Master of Science degree in Biotechnology and she continues her scientific career as a PhD student in the Center of Proteomics and Metabolomics at the Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC) and an early-stage researcher in Genos Ltd. She is passioned about the relationships between glycosylation of immunoglobulins (IgGs) and immune response. She investigates the glycosylation of total serum IgG for disease monitoring in allo- and autoimmune disorders affecting the blood and circulatory system. Moreover, she is gaining experience in LC-MS N-glycan analysis for developing comprehensive analytical methodologies to map the protein glycosylation.
