GlycanAge × Vidavii: Michal Cohen-Sagi’s Journey

Vidavii founder Michal Cohen-Sagi used GlycanAge to track how her biological age changed during a particularly demanding period, while relying more on the Vidavii Circuit to support her recovery. Her improved result helped inspire GlycanAge × Vidavii, combining the Circuit with biological age testing to measure change over time.

When Michal Cohen-Sagi, founder of Vidavii, a London wellbeing studio built around a 30-minute tech-based recovery circuit, first tested her GlycanAge, her biological age came back at 47, seven years younger than her chronological age. Over the months that followed, she began using the Circuit even more regularly, combining approaches such as infrared and ionised oxygen, lymphatic flow, cryotherapy and restorative massage to support recovery through a demanding period of training, work and everyday life. When she tested again, her GlycanAge had dropped to 42.
While no single intervention can be credited for the change, the experience gave Michal an opportunity to see how her biology was changing as recovery became a much more intentional part of her routine.
That experience eventually led to the creation of GlycanAge × Vidavii, a shared subscription package combining the Vidavii Circuit with GlycanAge testing over time.
We sat down with Michal to go back to where Vidavii began, what she learned from her own GlycanAge journey and why bringing the two together felt like a natural next step.
Before we get into your GlycanAge journey, take us back to the beginning of Vidavii. How did it all start?
My background is actually in technology. Later, I joined my husband's business and we spent many years running a wellbeing centre.
Our approach was always integrated. We had many different therapists because we didn't believe one practitioner or one type of therapy could see the complete picture.
I used to describe the client as a goldfish in a bowl. If you're standing on one side, you only see one angle. When different therapists look from different sides and bring their perspectives together, you begin to understand the whole person.
That was how we worked for many years.
Then COVID happened. The building was empty, therapists started working from home and the way people accessed wellness changed.
That was when I started asking myself whether technology could help us deliver that same integrated approach differently.
How did that philosophy eventually become the Vidavii Circuit?
We chose the equipment, developed the protocols and created what became London’s first tech-based wellbeing circuit.
The Vidavii Circuit is a sequence of different technologies, each targeting a different part of the recovery experience.
You start with a 60-second 3D body scan, which captures measurements including body composition, circumferences and posture. From there, an 8-minute Breathe session combines infrared heat, therapeutic light and ionised oxygen, followed by Squeeze, an 8-minute touchless pressure system designed to support lymphatic flow and circulation.
Next comes three minutes of whole-body cryotherapy at -85°C, followed by a dry-water massage before or after the Circuit for relaxation and recovery.
We wanted to bring these established approaches together into one structured sequence, while keeping the same philosophy of supporting the whole person rather than focusing on one isolated treatment.
That's also why the Circuit isn't necessarily identical for everybody. Someone coming in after a long flight may need something different from someone recovering from intense training or working towards a particular health goal.
We can adapt the protocols depending on what that person needs, but the idea remains the same: bringing several approaches together within one structured routine.

How did GlycanAge first come into your life, and what made you decide to test yourself?
I'm naturally very interested in measurement. I work in health and longevity, and for me it's important to understand what is actually happening in the body rather than assume something is working because it should.
I already had a healthy lifestyle. I exercised, paid attention to my nutrition, used the Circuit and was on HRT, so I wasn't testing because I thought something was necessarily wrong.
I wanted another piece of information.
My first GlycanAge came back at 47, when I was 54, and I was really happy with that.
What I liked was being able to look at biological age through inflammation and then potentially come back later and see whether anything had changed.
What was happening in your life between your first test and the next one?
It was actually quite an intense period.
There were a lot of things happening with the business, I was very busy and mentally I wasn't feeling completely myself.
Around that time, I heard someone talking about the idea that building a stronger body can help build a stronger mind. I already knew some friends were planning to do the Three Peaks Challenge, but I'd told them I couldn't join because I had too much happening with the business.
Then one day I just picked up the phone and asked, “Can I still come?”

Most of the people in my group had been preparing for much longer. I had only around five or six weeks.
So suddenly I was training much more intensely than I normally would, while still managing the business and everything else happening in my life.
Because I was asking so much more from my body, I also started relying on the Vidavii Circuit more.
I had already been using it before, but during that period I was doing it at least once a week and sometimes up to three times a week, particularly around recovery.
I knew the training itself was putting my body under much more pressure, so recovery had to become a bigger part of the equation too.
Then came the challenge itself. You're climbing a mountain, coming back down, getting into the car, travelling to the next one, trying to eat and rest in between, and then doing it all again.
It was incredibly demanding, physically and mentally.
After weeks of intense preparation and three mountains in less than 24 hours, you then had the chance to test your GlycanAge again. What happened?
There was an event happening at Vidavii where people were doing GlycanAge tests.
I had finished the Three Peaks Challenge only about four days earlier and I remember telling Zorrie, “I'll do it, but my result is going to be 70-something.”
I genuinely believed my body had been under so much stress that my GlycanAge would come back much older.
Zorrie encouraged me to test anyway. She reminded me that GlycanAge wasn't simply going to reflect what had happened over the previous few days. It would give us a longer-term picture of what had been happening in my body across that whole period.
So I did it and when the result came back, I was shocked - my biological age was 42.
It had gone down from 47 despite everything that had been happening during those months and despite how physically demanding those final weeks had been.
When you looked back at that whole period, what did the result make you think about differently?
For me, it reinforced how important recovery is.
I would never say that one individual thing caused the change. There were many factors involved, and I was already doing a lot for my health before my first test, including bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (HRT).
But what was interesting was that during a period when I was demanding much more from my body, I was also being much more intentional about recovery.
We talk a lot about avoiding stress, but that's not always realistic.
Exercise itself is a stressor. Work can be stressful. Travel is stressful. Life can become demanding.
So the question becomes: how are you helping your body recover from all of that?
People often immediately say sleep, and of course sleep is incredibly important. But sometimes perfect sleep simply isn't possible.
When my son was a baby, somebody could have told me to sleep eight hours every night, but that wasn't going to happen.
So you find other opportunities to recover. For me, that can be meditation, a sound bath, a cold shower or the Circuit.
And there is another part of the Circuit that I think people underestimate: you're actually giving yourself dedicated time away from everything else.
How often do we actually give ourselves that kind of space?
Your mind and body aren't separate. Recovery needs to include both.
How did your own experience eventually lead to GlycanAge and Vidavii creating a package together?
My own results made the combination feel very natural.
At Vidavii, we can give people a structured routine and technologies designed to support different aspects of recovery and wellbeing.
But then there is another question: How do you know what is actually changing?
That's why I like testing.
Feeling better is important, but I also want information that helps me understand what is happening inside my body.
GlycanAge gives us that measurement layer.
So rather than simply using the Circuit and assuming something is changing, clients can test first, follow their Vidavii routine over a period of time and then test again.
That's really where the idea of bringing the two together came from.
With GlycanAge × Vidavii, you have both sides: something you can actively integrate into your routine and a way to track how your biology changes over time.
For me, longevity is about understanding your own body. There isn't one perfect routine that works exactly the same way for everyone.
You do something with a purpose, you measure, and then you use that information to decide what comes next.
GlycanAge × Vidavii
GlycanAge × Vidavii combines a structured Vidavii Circuit routine with GlycanAge testing over time.
The three- and six-month subscription options include GlycanAge testing before and after the programme, allowing members to compare their results and explore how their biological age and inflammation-related glycan profile change over time.
It brings together the two sides of Michal's own experience: taking action and measuring what changes.
